Let me start this entry by saying, I am astounded how many things kids leave behind. Years ago when I was a school secretary, I would just be flabbergasted at the vast amount of stuff sitting in the LOST & FOUND.None of it was cheap stuff. Brand names Macy's, Abercrombie, more. Once I saw one shoe. One. How do you lost one shoe in elementary school? It's not as though you're changing clothes at any point, right? And lunch boxes galore. We all know that lunch boxes are only cheap in August.
I swore when I had kids that would never happen to me. So in order to avoid any of this I own LOTS of permanent markers. Well, this year I found something better. A lot better. They're labels by MABELS LABELS. There are a number of different kinds of labels, including circular ones with you child's name that go on the inside soul of the shoe (it has a clear protective label that goes over the top to keep it in place).

You've got to check out this website. The labels are fantastic. Great for Kindergartners and Preschoolers stuff! I got everything for my almost kindergartner (back to school starts early for me). And I will be getting more for my middle child (he wears his stuff out before his labels!!).
